Yatton parks and open spaces volunteering

Yatton and Congresbury Wildlife Action Group (YACWAG)

YACWAG owns and manages a number of nature reserves around Yatton and Congresbury.

Part of the land that they work on is the Strawberry Line at Yatton. Working in partnership with North Somerset Council, YACWAG carry out a range of maintenance tasks on the banks and pools alongside the footpath, which forms part of the wider Biddle Street SSSI. The council manages the path and supports YACWAG with the verge maintenance.

Volunteer tasks include habitat restoration, vegetation clearance, meadow management, surveys and litter picking.
