The Parenting Village

The Parenting Village is a relaxed and friendly drop in run by our parenting team. It's completely free to attend.

The Village is a space for parents and carers to connect with one another, share experiences and feel part of a supportive community. Our parenting specialists are always available for a chat, offering a listening ear, reassurance and practical advice.

You can also speak with professionals from a range of services, including Family Hubs, health, SEND, education, debt advice and more.

Whether you're looking for guidance, signposting, or simply someone who understands, the Parenting Village is here for you. It's also a great place to learn more about our advanced parenting groups and how these might support your family.

Partner organisations

Each week, different partner organisations join the Parenting Village sessions across North Somerset to offer advice and guidance, helping to make the group a safe, friendly and responsive place for families. Because attendance works on a rotating basis, the organisations available will vary from week to week.

For up-to-date information on who will be attending upcoming sessions, staff and families can contact us directly at parenting.groups@n-somerset.gov.uk.
