Mellow Growing Together is an eight‑week supportive group programme for parents of children aged 0 to 5 years. It is designed to help parents build confidence, strengthen their bond with their child and feel more connected during the early years.
The programme is especially helpful for parents who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood or isolation during the perinatal period, and who might be finding it harder to connect with their baby or young child. Each group offers a gentle, welcoming space where parents can reflect on their experiences and feel supported by others who understand what they're going through.
What the programme helps with
Parents are supported to:
- understand their own needs and their child's needs
- learn positive, practical strategies to use at home
- strengthen the parent-child bond
- reflect on their parenting journey and celebrate their strengths
- build responsive, nurturing caregiving skills
- develop a supportive network and improve overall family wellbeing
Groups for mums and dads run separately, giving each parent the chance to connect with others who may be facing similar challenges in a safe, understanding environment.
