Since the Knife Angel left Weston-super-Mare’s Italian Gardens on 30 May, the North Somerset Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) have continued to tackle knife crime by raising awareness and educating the local community. 

Another planning application has been submitted today (Friday 13 December) on North Somerset Council’s behalf outlining proposals for a proposed future phase of its project to restore Birnbeck Pier and Island.

A RED weather warning for wind is in place across North Somerset from 3am to 11am on Saturday 7 December, as a result of Storm Darragh. It will remain very windy throughout the day, with AMBER wind warnings remaining until Saturday evening.
