Public toilets

Any public toilet where the public is entitled to access with or without payment is subject to a public space protection order.

The order requires that in public toilets you must not

  • cause damage to the property
  • vandalise, improperly soil or add any printed or written materials to any part of the public convenience
  • obstruct any person working at or using the public toilet

Anyone who fails to comply, without reasonable excuse, is in breach unless specific exemptions apply within the order.
