Booking MAVIS bus

MAVIS can be used at community events across North Somerset.

With adaptable seating, a range of audio-visual options and a fully equipped medical area, MAVIS can be used for youth outreach work, health care awareness and training or even an emergency command centre

Booking costs

Booking costs for MAVIS are

  • £50 per day
  • £25 per half day

The bus can be delivered to a location of your choice at a specific time, and collected at the end of your event. Collection fees are

  • £40 (in Weston-super-Mare)
  • £50 (anywhere else in North Somerset)

All contributions will go towards the running costs of MAVIS

Bus facilities

The bus comes equipped with the following

  • LCD TV screen with multiple points for connecting laptops or tablets
  • worktop and storage area to display leaflets.
  • kitchen area with a kettle and sink
  • fold-down tables and chairs
  • mobile phone charging points 
  • separate medical area behind a sliding door with table and chairs, first aid treatment area, sink, work surface and storage unit
  • On-board WiFi
