Some households may experience some disruption to their recycling, food and garden waste collections throughout August. This is because we currently don’t have enough HGV drivers to complete our rounds as normal.

It’s really easy to check when your next collection is due. You just need to enter your postcode, select your address and your collection dates will be displayed. You also have the option to download your collection calendar.
Did you know that 50% of the rubbish we take from your black bins could have been recycled?
If your household is registered for the garden waste service you’ll also see your garden waste collection calendar.
Put your bins out on the edge of your property the night before or by 6.30am.
We collect on bank holidays so you need to put your bins out on your normal collection day. The only exception is the Christmas and New Year period, when you need to check your calendar for your revised collection dates.
If your bin is not collected on your scheduled day you can find information about missed collections on our Report a missed collection webpage.
We aim to return to missed bins within 48 hours so please leave your bins out on the edge of your property for collection.
