Voluntary organisations, community groups and sports clubs across North Somerset can once again apply for funding to support projects that help local people become more physically active.

North Somerset Council has written to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer today calling for urgent changes to the way councils are funded, warning that national policy is pushing bills up locally while reducing government support.

A section of the A38 near Sidcot School between Oakridge Lane and Shipham Lanewill be closed from Monday 12 January for four days between the hours of 09.30am and 3.30pm for essential tree works.
