We refurbish road markings when they become worn. This is usually carried out between April and September when weather conditions are better.

After any surfacing work, we try to put new lines down within a week of the roadworks being completed but it could take up to 28 days on some types of new road surfaces.
Cats eyes will also be put back into the road at the same time. If we can improve the road markings as part of the works we will. They are as cost-effective and environmentally friendly as possible.
