Recycling centres
The recycling centres will be operating on winter opening hours from 1 October – 28 February 2022.
Due to the reduction of daylight hours, this will mean later opening times and an earlier closing time. Please check the details of opening times for your nearest recycling centre before making the journey.
Please note all our sites are closed Christmas day, Boxing day and New Year’s day.

When visiting the recycling centres, it is important to follow social distancing and remain 2m apart from staff and other users at all times.
Restrictions and social distancing are in place to ensure everyone’s safety. Do not visit if you have symptoms of coronavirus.
During your visit please respect staff, follow all the guidelines and on-site signs.
If queuing for a recycling centre, please be patient and mindful of local residents. Turn off your engines while you wait and do not block driveways.
Staff are unable to help load/unload unless absolutely necessary.
Limit travel and maximise your journey by:
- using the recycling centre closest to you – check opening times before you travel
- making full use of our kerbside services. You can order additional recycling boxes and food waste caddies online
- if you only have one bag of waste please dispose of it in your black bin at home, or wait to fill your car to reduce the number of visits
