Social tariffs can provide a safety net for you if you're struggling to afford your broadband or phone services. Ofcom have created a table of all the packages available.

Free sim cards and mobile data from North Somerset libraries

If you are over 18 and from a low-income household, you may qualify for a free SIM card and mobile data vouchers. You must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • has no access or insufficient access to the internet at home
  • has no or insufficient access to the internet when away from home
  • can’t afford their existing monthly contract or top-up

Digital learning and support

There are a wide range of training and workshops available to help you with using computers and being online. These include both in-person scheduled sessions and online training that you can complete anytime anywhere.
