Clevedon seafront and Hill Road review

AECOM independent review of Clevedon seafront

Independent experts AECOM have been appointed to review changes made to Hill Road and The Beach in Clevedon. 

We have done this in response to criticism received from local residents and businesses. 

This webpage has been created to provide direct updates from AECOM as they go through the review process. 

Public consultation

The public consultation includes a six-week questionnaire period between 10am Monday 14 August and 11.59pm Monday 25 September.

Timeline

In August, we will promote launch of public consultation, launch questionnaire period 14 August to 23 September and local promotion and site observation. In September, there will be interviews with key interest groups, a local drop-in surgery and opportunity to book virtual appointments, and responses analysis and scheme review. In October, there will be a public presentation of review outcomes.

How you can respond

You can fill out the survey: 

  • online - via the link on this page
  • by post - we can send you a paper copy and then you can post it back to the address listed on this page
  • in person - you can pick up a copy and fill it out on site at the Clevedon Library during opening hours
  • download - via a QR code which will be displayed around the community and in print. You can then return it via email or post.

We will visit Clevedon again on 23 August. At this time we will be visiting local residents and businesses to ensure they have a copy of the questionnaire.

  • Between 11am and 8pm in Clevedon Community Hall

There will also be a some virtual meetings offered during this week. More details of how to book will follow.

After the public consultation period

The responses collected during the public consultation period will be collated and analysed. The scheme will be reviewed and any recommendations will be identified.

The review outcomes will be presented in a public presentation in November.
