Parks and open spaces

Youth groups

Youth groups are normally run in local village halls, community venues or churches. You can find out more information by looking online at community websites or Town or Parish council websites.

Get active

If your child is looking to become more physically active, our Better Health North Somerset website has an online Active Directory, which lists local sports clubs. 

Many towns and villages also have local football, rugby, cricket and netball clubs. You can usually find these on social media. 

Swimming

After-school activities

Many schools run after-school clubs and activities. Visit your local school website to find out what provision they offer.

Holiday, activities and food programme

If your child is entitled to free school meals, they may also be able to access free holiday provision at Christmas, Easter and summer.
