We secured Department for Transport funding to develop the full business case in autumn 2023. Proposals for each of the nine locations are now being designed and developed.
In June 2025, we appointed Octavius who will help deliver the works. Their first task will be the completion of a detailed design. This will allow us to submit a full business case to the Department for Transport.
The business case must be approved before any construction can begin.
