You can challenge or appeal against your property’s rateable value if:
- you believe the rateable value is incorrect
- there has been a change in the use of your property
- there has been a change in the locality which has affected the value of your property
- there has been a change in the use of neighbouring properties
- part of your property has been demolished or added to
- the Valuation Office Agency changes your rateable value for any reason
Challenges and appeals are made to the Valuation Office Agency who will investigate the decision
