You can appeal against your business rates when you believe they have been wrongly calculated. You can appeal:
- your property’s rateable value
- completion notices on your premises
You can only appeal when you are the owner, leaseholder, tenant, or occupier of a property.
Continue to pay your business rates during any appeals process. If you don’t we could take action to recover the costs. If your appeal is successful all overpaid rates will be refunded.
