Pre-submission plan (reg 19) – Autumn 2023
The new North Somerset Local Plan identifies where development can and cannot take place in North Somerset. It guides investment for new housing, jobs, transport and community facilities over the next 15 years.
This stage is sometimes also referred to as the Regulation 19 or Publication version of the Local Plan. All of the representations made can be viewed on the consultation portal.
We have now published a consultation statement which summarises the main issues raised for each policy and allocation. It provides an update in terms of the next steps in the plan-making process.
The Pre-submission Plan was agreed by the Executive Committee on 18 October 2023.
