HAF terms and conditions

Safeguarding

Children and young people remain the safeguarding responsibility of parents and carers until they sign into the HAF session on the day. This includes the journey to and from the venue.

Parent and carers are responsible for ensuring the safety of the child or young person when they are traveling independently to and from the venue.

Before booking

Before booking make sure that the provision is suitable for your child or young person.

Complete all questions during the booking process and provide as much information as possible including whether your child or young person may need 1:1 support. If your child or young person has additional needs, please ensure that this is communicated. If the operator requires further detail you will be contacted.

Failure to disclose information during the booking process may result in your child or young person being unable to attend or you being asked to collect them from the venue.

If a provider has requested additional information relating to the needs of your child and you do not provide this information then the provider has the right to refuse to accept your child for the activity.

Cancelling your session

Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) sessions are funded by the Department for Education (DfE). Sessions are limited and in high demand. Only book sessions that your child or young person will attend.

In the event of not being able to attend, cancel your session via the online booking system. We require 48 hours’ notice of cancellation. If this is not possible you should communicate directly with the venue as soon as possible of non-attendance (otherwise the ability to book further sessions may be limited or prevented).
