Face-to-face service

North Somerset residents who can't access council services online or on the phone are able to access face-to-face support. This can come from library staff or via one of our dedicated support service meetings.

Help from library staff

Library staff offer face-to-face support with residents' enquiries. This means people can access support for longer periods and in more locations.

For complex enquiries where an immediate answer can’t be given, or for a specialist area such as Housing or Council Tax, you may be directed to the phones to get the right support. For some services such as blue badge applications, you may be offered an appointment for a later date.

This is available across all libraries.

Council Tax and Benefits support

We have launched a face-to-face support service for people with complex issues relating to Council Tax and Benefits.

The service is offered in Weston-super-Mare Town Hall every Tuesday and Friday between 9AM and 1PM.

If you think that you need support or advice, contact us on 01275 885 082 to make an appointment.
