North Somerset Libraries still have some tickets left for Simon Scarrow’s free online ‘Question and Answer’ event on Thursday 23 March at 2pm.

Known for his bestselling Roman adventure stories, particularly the Eagles of the Empire of military fiction series, Simon has since taken to writing World War II thrillers. In his latest book, Dead of Night, Police Inspector Horst Schenke is under immense pressure to solve a murder. Schenk’s investigation reaches the upper levels of the Nazi hierarchy and uncovers a terrifying secret.

During the online event, Simon will be interviewed by library staff about his latest book, his historical research and his writing.  He will read extracts from it and answer questions from the audience.

Register for a free ticket at North Somerset Libraries’ Eventbrite page. Go to http://n-somersetlibraries.eventbrite.com or search for 'North Somerset Libraries Eventbrite'.

Everyone who registers will get an email with joining details before the event. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions – either during the session, or these can be submitted in advance by emailing libraries@n-somerset.gov.uk.

The event will appeal to both readers and writers, so book your tickets now.

The interview has been arranged in partnership with The Reading Agency and Headline Publishing Group.
