We currently offer two package levels for our ecological pre-application advice service - simple and complex.
Simple advice
This service is suitable for applications related to:
- Householder
- Listed Building
- Change of use
- construction of up to 9 new residential units or sites up to 999m².
This will involve the review of submitted documents and the provision of a written response. No meetings are held.
Timeline
We will aim to respond within four weeks of the request. During periods of high demand this may take longer.
Cost
The cost of this service is £203.72.
Complex service
This service is applicable to developments of 10 or more new residential units or over 1000m² (including business change of use).
The cost of this service will depend on the complexity of the potential ecological impacts of the development so is ‘Price on Application’.
The Ecology Team will review the application to determine the approximate number of hours required. They will confirm a cost which is payable online.
Site visits will be included if necessary and a meeting (usually via Teams) to discuss the advice will be arranged if required. A written summary will also be provided.
