Click and collect library services

North Somerset Libraries are again offering a free Click and Collect service. We cannot currently allow the public into buildings but we are working hard to make sure that books are still available for everyone.

How does the service work?

  1. Let us know what kind of books you enjoy.
  2. We choose up to six fantastic books for you.
  3. You come and collect safely from the library.

How do I order books?

To place your order call or email your local library –  ClevedonThe CampusFor All Healthy Living CentreNailseaPillPortisheadWestonWinscombeWorleYatton and the Mobile Library.

Give your library card number when placing an order. If you’re not yet a member you can join the library for free at www.librarieswest.org.uk/join We will offer you a time to come and collect your books. They will be ready for you at the library entrance: the library will be closed. Please observe a 2 metre distance if others are waiting.

If you have specific access requirements, please let the library know when you place your order.

You can ask for books in Large Print format or on CD, if you need them.

Parents can order and collect books for their children.

If you can’t come to the library yourself why not ask friends or family members if they can collect your books for you?

You can also request specific titles using the online reservation system on the LibrariesWest website.

Returning library books

Books can be returned through the external book drop or letterbox at Clevedon, the Healthy Living Centre, Nailsea, Pill, Portishead, Weston, Worle and Yatton libraries and the Mobile Library. We will make sure they are safe for the next person to borrow.

Safety information

Each library has careful distancing and safety measures in place to help keep you and our staff safe. We are following government guidelines on COVID safety. If you wish to speak to a member of staff, please do this by phone or email.

You can use your library card to borrow ebooks, e-audiobooks, digital magazines and comics for free.
