Proud to care in North Somerset

Proud to care bonus

If you start working for one of North Somerset Council’s care providers, providing home care for adults with physical disabilities or dementia, you’ll be eligible for a Proud to Care bonus payment.

All you have to do is successfully apply for a care job with one of our commissioned providers. You will need to work in your position for six months to get the bonus. 

The bonus payment you receive will be worth your average weekly pay. This will be calculated over the previous six months (excluding any mileage claims).

The two care providers commissioned by North Somerset Council to pay the bonus are:

  • Access Your Care
  • Care Quality Services

Our care providers cover the areas as indicated on the map.
