Family hubs

Our family hubs are here to help families across North Somerset feel happy, welcomed and supported. 

Our hubs are fun, friendly places where families with children can connect, play and grow together. 

We provide government-funded activities and support as part of Best Start in Life.

You can get support from a family hub if you are:

• a parent or carer of a child aged 0 to 19, or 25 with special educational needs or a disability
• pregnant
• a young person up to the age of 19, or up to 25 for a young person with special educational needs or a disability

We offer lots of great things for you and your child, including:

• health visiting groups to get your baby weighed
• support for parents
• pre and postnatal health
• infant feeding support
• fun groups and exciting events for young children
• baby massage courses

When you sign up as a member, you and your child can join any group or event at any of our hubs across North Somerset. It’s free and easy.

Being a member helps us keep our groups running strong. It shows how important these services are to families like yours.
