We invite feedback on a recently launched consultation. This consultation is exploring the potential benefits and challenges of making all local transport authorities (LTAs) in England responsible for taxi and private hire vehicle licensing.

This consultation closes at 11:59pm on 1 April 2026.
Please note, we offer a drop in reception for taxi enquiries at the Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare, every Tuesday 10am to 12pm.
