The attacks on civilians have appalled us all and our thoughts are with those affected, including those living here in North Somerset. We stand ready to help and support all those in our community who are impacted by these events and are deeply concerned about the ensuing humanitarian crisis.
We call for peace, and an end to the needless suffering and deaths of innocent men, women and children in Israel and Palestine.
