Joanna met with Mandy Bishop, who was recently appointed as Chief Executive of North Somerset Council. The visit provided an opportunity for Mandy to showcase the council’s priorities, discuss current challenges, and explore how the council and the LGA can work together to support local government priorities.
The agenda included discussions on important topics such as community tensions, the impacts of national policy changes, local government re-organisation and fair funding.
