North Somerset Council is reminding residents that garden waste subscription renewals – as well as new sign‑ups – are now open for the 2026/27 collection year.

Current subscriptions expire on 31 March 2026, and households that wish to continue receiving collections from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 are encouraged to renew as soon as possible.

Subscription costs

The subscription rate for the forthcoming year is:

  • £70 per garden waste bin (maximum of two bins per household)
  • For households unable to have a bin: £70 for three garden waste bags (maximum of six bags)

After renewing, permits should arrive in the post within 15 working days.
