The X10 connects people to key destinations throughout the region, making it easier than ever to reach the shops, services, places, and people you love this Christmas. The route runs from Yatton Station through Clevedon, Portishead, Cribbs Causeway, Filton College, and Southmead Hospital, offering convenient links for shopping, work, study, and appointments.
The festive free travel offer aims to support residents during a busy time of year, reduce traffic congestion, and encourage more people to choose sustainable travel.

Hugh Malyan, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport at North Somerset Council, said: "Christmas is all about spending time with family and friends. With this free travel offer this festive season, people can visit loved ones in Clevedon, Portishead, Bristol, and beyond via Yatton Station, without worrying about fares, parking, or congestion. We hope this initiative helps everyone enjoy the festive season while exploring local shops, markets, and the many special places our communities have to offer."
The free travel offer is part of a wider programme of works across North Somerset to improve bus travel. These include:
- keeping fares low
- working with bus operators to get more reliable journeys
- 150 upgraded bus stops and shelters
- new transport hubs, which include more comfortable seating and Real Time Information points to see when your next bus is arriving
- works to give buses priority at key congestion hotspots.
