Early Years Funding – information for childcare providers

Early Years Funding has to be claimed by childcare providers on-line via our funding system.

If you would like to claim funding, please send us a request via email and we will add you to our system. Contact details are included on this page.

To get you started, please read our funding guide for a detailed breakdown of:

  • how to calculate your funding
  • when your funding starts and deadlines for claims
  • details on insurance requirements.

Please note it will take around two weeks to set you up on the system. We also do not backdate funding so please contact us in good time.

Once you are registered

Within the system you will be able to:

  • check HMRC eligibility codes
  • make regular claims for payment from the Local Authority for the funded hours of childcare that you deliver under these schemes

For more information on the upcoming changes to entitlement, please see the Childcare Choices website.
