Privacy notice - Bikeability survey 2025/26

North Somerset Council is committed to ensuring every child leaves primary school with the foundations of safe on road cycling. We’ve made great progress and now aim to work with schools to reach 80% Level 2 Bikeability completion for year six pupils.

This survey is designed to help us understand:

  • what’s working well
  • what challenges schools are facing
  • how we can better support delivery

Your feedback will help shape future planning, support and resources for cycling education across the district.

How we use and process your data

The data controller for this survey is North Somerset Council, which is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office for the purpose of processing personal data. 

We are collecting your email address and general feedback about how Bikeability training is delivered in your school. We are not collecting any personal data about individual pupils or staff.

Your email address will be used only to:

  • follow up on your responses if needed
  • share relevant updates or outcomes from the survey

All data will be stored securely and processed in accordance with UK data protection law. It will not be shared with third parties and will only be used for the purposes stated above. For full details of how we use personal data, please refer to our privacy notices and data protection page.
