Privacy notice – North Somerset Cycle Forum

North Somerset Council is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office for the purposes of processing personal data. The information you provide will be held and used in accordance with the requirements of UK and European data protection law. The information will be held by North Somerset Council’s Sustainable Travel and Road Safety Team, and held until you give notice for this to be deleted.

Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will only collect the minimum personal data required to deliver the service. This will include your chosen contact details (which will not be shared). It will include details you may provide at North Somerset Cycle Forum meetings, for example if you state you represent a particular group or locality. It will include views you may express at North Somerset Cycle Forum meetings. This data may be published within Forum minutes that are distributed to other Forum members. It will also be published on the North Somerset Council Website, so that Forum Members and  any interested party can view what has been discussed and outcomes. It does not include any special category personal information, or information relating to criminal convictions or offences.

In accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of GDPR, we rely on your consent to process your personal data, and as such you can revoke your consent at any time. To request removal of your data please contact Sustainable.Travel@n-somerset.gov.uk.

We will not use your personal information in a way that may cause you unwarranted nuisance. The information provided may be shared in an anonymised format for statistical purposes, with North Somerset Council’s Sustainable Travel and Road Safety team.  Your data is never shared or processed outside of the UK.

You have the right to see the personal data we process about you, as well as the right of rectification, restriction and erasure.
