Animal Welfare (Licensing Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018 requires licenses for the following activities:

• dog breeding
• boarding for cats and dogs
• home boarding for dogs
• day care for dogs
• selling animals as pets
• hiring out horses
• exhibiting animals
